On July 2, 1990 Jacob von Kutzleben was born in Arlington Heights, IL. When he was a young boy, his family moved to Atlanta, GA where they stayed until Jacob was a pre-teen. They then moved to Mountainair, NM.
While in high school, Jacob played football for three years at Mountainair High School. During his playing time, they made the play-offs each year, including a State Championship in 2007.
Jacob came to New Mexico State after graduating high school in 2009, where he was a Criminal Justice major. He was also studying Japanese and had hoped to do a semester abroad in Japan. His two brothers joined him as Aggies in 2011.
On the morning of November 24, 2012 Jacob passed away from injuries incurred in a car accident the previous night. He left behind his mother, father, two brothers, and many people who loved and enjoyed his infectious laugh and love of a good time.
